The problem

Bad marketing isn’t a marketing problem. It’s a business risk.

Every company makes big commercial decisions long before Sales asks for pipeline: which market, which buyer, which problem, which category, what price, what proof. Nobody manages them on purpose, so they become untested assumptions. Then Sales finds out which ones were wrong, one lost deal at a time.

01

Market risk

Are we building for a market that will actually buy? ICP, beachhead, timing, who owns the budget.

02

Narrative risk

Does the market understand why it needs to change, and why you? Category, story, stakes.

03

Go-to-market risk

Do we know how this market buys? Buying committee, triggers, channels, sales motion.

04

Revenue risk

Can interest reliably become revenue? Conversion, deal velocity, pricing pushback, procurement.

05

Strategic visibility risk

Does the market know what you could become? Analysts, category authority, partners, acquirers.

You already sell this discipline to your customers: find the exposure, rank the risk, fix what matters before it costs you. We apply it to your own revenue.

Engagements

Fix the riskiest thing first. Then keep it fixed.

Three fixed-scope engagements and one retainer. Most clients start with the Assessment, then fix the single riskiest area instead of buying everything at once.

Step 1 · Start here

1–2 weeks

Commercial Risk Assessment

“Where is this business actually taking commercial risk?”

  • Interviews with your CEO, CRO and members of the sales team
  • A review of your pipeline data: conversion by stage, deal velocity, win/loss and lost-deal reasons
  • A structured review across all five risk areas
  • Findings ranked: what’s fine, what’s fragile, what’s urgent
  • A readout session with your leadership team
You getA risk map and a ranked recommendation memo

Step 2 · Market

2–3 weeks

Market Opportunity Scan

“Where should we play, and will this market actually buy?”

  • 6–8 interviews with customers or prospects
  • Your ICP and beachhead market, defined by what buyers actually said
  • A map of the buying committee: who starts the deal, who blocks it, who owns the budget
  • Competitive alternatives and category analysis
  • A read on timing and market maturity
You getA market and ICP strategy, grounded in primary research

Step 2 · Narrative

3–4 weeks

Strategic Narrative Sprint

“Does the market understand why it needs to change, and why you?”

  • 6–8 interviews across leadership, sales and customers
  • A facilitated leadership workshop to agree the story
  • Your strategic narrative: the change, the stakes, the outcome, your edge, the proof
  • Category and positioning framing
  • Messaging for each audience: CEO, CRO, CISO and board, plus scripts for your sales deck and website
You getA strategic narrative document and a slide-ready outline

Step 3 · Ongoing

3-month minimum

Marketing Partner retainer

“Who keeps all of this aligned once the strategy work is done?”

Fractional marketing leadership, without hiring a full-time CMO. We sit with your leadership team every month and the JunoLabs team produces the work.

  • Fractional marketing leadership, plus oversight of everything that ships
  • Monthly and quarterly planning with your leadership team
  • Campaign and content strategy, produced by the JunoLabs team
  • Sales alignment, with a regular pipeline and performance review
  • Month to month after the first three months, with 30 days’ notice

Fixed scope, fixed fee. Engagements from US$4,500. Every engagement is quoted in writing before we start. We confirm the fee on a 30-minute call, once we know how many people we need to interview.

How we work

Find. Forge. Prove. Scale.

Reduce the risk, create revenue, then build lasting value. Strategy and execution are separate on purpose: you can run the output with your own team, hand it to your agency, or have the JunoLabs team build it out.

01

Find.

Understand the market, the buyer, the opportunity and your specific risks.

02

Forge.

Get leadership aligned on the market position, the narrative and the commercial strategy.

03

Prove.

Build the evidence, messaging and go-to-market motion that show the strategy works.

04

Scale.

Expand what works through your team, your partners or JunoLabs execution.

A good fit

Built for Series B+ cybersecurity companies.

  • You have a CRO or a marketing team, and several leaders who see the story differently
  • Pipeline is there, but deals stall, shrink or go to “no decision”
  • You’re entering a new market, segment or category
  • A board meeting, fundraise or acquisition conversation is coming, and the story has to hold up

Not the right fit

Earlier stage? Start somewhere simpler.

  • Seed to Series A, or still founder-led sales
  • No marketing team yet, and no group of leaders to align
  • You need assets shipped, not strategy decided

Our agency work is built for you. Start with the Messaging Exposure Assessment or the Cybersecurity Growth System.

Questions leadership teams ask

How much does it cost?

Engagements start from US$4,500. Each one has a fixed fee, agreed in writing before we start. The exact fee depends on how many leaders, customers and sales team members we need to interview, so we confirm it on a 30-minute call.

How is this different from your Growth System?

The Growth System works from the outside in: one founder interview and desk research, then we build the assets. Advisory works from the inside out: interviews across your leadership, sales team and customers, your pipeline data and facilitated workshops. If you don’t have several leaders to align, the Growth System is the better fit.

Do we have to buy everything?

No. Most clients start with the Commercial Risk Assessment, then fix the single riskiest area with the Market Opportunity Scan or the Strategic Narrative Sprint. The retainer comes later, if you want help keeping it all aligned.

Can our own team run with the output?

Yes. Strategy and execution are separate on purpose. Your team or your existing agency can run with it, or the JunoLabs team can build it out.

What do you need from us?

Time with your leadership team, access to the sales team and a handful of customers or prospects, pipeline data from your CRM, and one decision-maker for sign-off.

Is it confidential?

Yes. We work under a mutual NDA, and interview notes and pipeline data are never shared outside the engagement.

Where is your business taking risk it can’t see?
